This was a super chill day! (And I didn’t workout on the 5th or today because of cello things but cello is honestly more important to me)
- 0.5 mile warm-up
- 10 minutes of drills
- dynamic stretching
- 20 minutes suuuper easy in the woods above the lake on cliffs on a hilly trail
- 2 x 10 forward fire hydrants, backwards fire hydrants, donkey keys, and side leg extensions all on both sides
- 7 minutes of abs
- "Bring Sally Up Squat Challenge" — our coach played a song and we began in a squat with our hands on the back of our hands and every time the singer said "bring Sally up" we stood up and then like 2 seconds later he would say "bring Sally down" and we would lower back down into a squat and then hold it in between and during the chorus…it was pretty intense. Google it and try it!!!
I only slept 4 hours the night before so it was so nice to do a relaxing run in the peaceful woods. I loved it! I’m excited for track workouts!!!!!!
